What is Sermorelin?
There are 2 ways we can boost levels of HGH in the body. The first is by using a Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) and the second is by using real growth hormone.
Sermorelin is a growth hormone secretagogue, or in other words a GHRH (Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone). GHRH stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and secrete growth hormone. Sermorelin therapy can increase the volume of human growth hormone (hGH)that is secreted by the pituitary gland. It can then be converted by the liver into IGF-1. The increased amount of IGF-1 in the blood stream results in benefits to metabolism and growth of new cells within the body’s organs and bones. This treatment is prescribed for unlabeled use in adults to increase lean muscle mass, reduce body fat, increase bone density, enhance the immune system, and strengthen the heart, as well as, other organs of the body. Since the human growth hormone is produced by the body’s pituitary gland, the body’s endocrine system will not allow more growth hormone to be produced by the Sermorelin GH-RH stimulation of the pituitary than the body can safely process within the endocrine feedback system. Its use for adult hormone deficiency is not restricted like real Growth Hormone.
GHRP-6, a growth hormone releasing peptide can be added to Sermorelin, it acts the same as Sermorelin but on different receptors. A combination of both in some people can increase the effectiveness and overall outcome of treatment.
Studies have shown that the fastest and most effective way to reverse the signs and symptoms of aging, such as decreased libido, lack of energy, weight gain or difficulty losing weight, decreased mental alertness or a weakened immune system is to boost your growth hormone levels. Sermorelin can help by prompting your pituitary gland to produce its own human growth hormone to sustain these benefits over the long-term.
