Did you ever think that your abdominal discomfort, fatigue, weight gain, arthritis, headaches or aging skin could be from a food allergy or food sensitivity? Food allergy considerations are a major component to your health.  Call us today at Beyond-Biology to ask how we can help get you tested! 888.908.0804

Testing for IgE antibodies (type-I hypersensitivity reaction) may be useful to establish the diagnosis of an allergic disease and to identify the allergens responsible for eliciting reported signs and symptoms. Type-I hypersensitivity reactions result in release of pro-inflammatory mediators and general disruptions. Specific IgE testing is a useful tool in the management of a number of health conditions in addition to identifying the environmental contributions to a patient’s total allergen body burden.

Beyond-Biology physicians can use specific IgE testing as a useful tool in the management of a number of health conditions such as: asthma, seasonal allergies, chronic sinusitis, eczema, atopic dermatitis, and irritable bowel syndrome.  It is an invaluable tool that aids in identifying foods that contribute to a patient’s total allergen body burden.

Beyond-Biology also offers the Food Safe Allergy Test which measures sensitivity to foods by an antibody mediated response IgG. This is not for measuring those immediate response allergies IgE.

The Food Safe Allergy test comes packaged as a kit. It requires a “finger stick” blood spot to be collected and shipped directly to the laboratory in a pre-paid envelope. All necessary components for the “finger-stick” are included in the kit with a complete set of instructions for easy collection.
